The 4th KPMG ESG Case Competition aims to “Analyze Cases, Connect with Business”, enhancing students’ practical skills in ESG business case analysis through real-world challenges. It fosters synergy among students, enterprises, and society, driving a new chapter in sustainable development. This competition is a joint initiative by KPMG China, our Institute, the Renmin University of China Business School, and it seeks to foster a profound partnership between enterprises and academia, nurturing top-tier talents for the future.

This year, we continue our mission to foster idea exchange, facilitate multi-disciplinary research, and promote cross-pollination for impactful research on sustainability with the occasion.

This year's forum explores two pivotal issues: the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in driving sustainability, and the critical themes of Consensus, Critique, and Course-Correction within global sustainability discourse.

This slide deck aims to present a conference proposal co-organized by the HKU Jockey Club Enterprise Sustainability Global Research Institute of the University of Hong Kong and the Consulate General of Belgium in Hong Kong and Macau. The conference is a one-day event allowing knowledge exchange between Belgium and Hong Kong as well as between academia and the world of practice.
