The HKU Jockey Club Enterprise Sustainability Global Research Institute is partnering with KPMG China and Renmin University to host the Third KPMG ESG Case Study Competition. The KPMG ESG Case Competition is designed with the goal of "Integrating case analysis with business practice". We aim to enhance students' ability to scrutinize ESG business cases thoroughly, foster a meaningful dialogue among students, businesses, and society, and pave the way for sustainable development. This competition is a joint initiative by KPMG China, our Institute, the Renmin University of China Business School, and it seeks to foster a profound partnership between enterprises and academia, nurturing top-tier talents for the future. The 20 highest-scoring teams will be invited to present their work to a high-profile panel of judges at the Presentation and Award Ceremony on Saturday, 2nd November 2024 at the University of Hong Kong. Winners will be rewarded with scholarship and prizes. All prizes are provided by KPMG. The finalists can enjoy the qualification of free written examination screening and internship opportunities for the 2025 Winter Audit Internship (internship conditions need to be met). The champion team will also be given priority to be admitted to the Masters Program of the HKU Business School and have the opportunity to receive a scholarship of HK$250,000 from the HKU Jockey Club Enterprise Sustainability Global Research Institute. Note: An administrative charge of 7% will be deducted from all award-winning bonuses. The specific internship opportunities shall be determined by KPMG.
